_ Trenara x Watchletic: structured workouts on the Apple Watch.

We are very pleased that we can offer this functionality to our Trenarians. Do you have Peak Pro? Then, through Watchletic, you can now link with Trenara and bring our structured workouts to the Apple Watch! Starting now. So, no more manual creation or memorization of your workouts!

Thanks to the collaboration with Watchletic, we were able to keep our development costs in check. In addition to integration with Trenara, Watchletic also offers other great features and it’s an app where the app developer is also very responsive – it’s a common value, which is why we work together. As for those other features, think of audio cues, interval splits, …

_ How does it work?

The link with Trenara is established from the Watchletic app – in contrast to the existing syncs, the integration is not activated from Trenara but from Watchletic.

If you have a subscription to Watchletic (only 1.99 euros per month!), you can, just like with Garmin, synchronize the workouts for the next 7 days. These workouts are then sent to your Apple Watch so that you can start them at the beginning of a training session.

If you have any questions about Watchletic, you can quickly get assistance from Viktor via https://www.reddit.com/r/watchletic/.

_ Why not native in the Apple Watch workout app?

Indeed, we are aware that since WatchOS 10, a native integration can be developed within the Apple Watch platform. However, this requires additional app developments on our side, while our development roadmap is fixed until Q3 2024. A connection with the native Apple Watch platform is not on the agenda for the next 12 months.

The developer of Watchletic has already received active requests from Trenarians to establish the integration. This was the most practical and fastest way for us to provide them with a solution.
